Metro magazine’s September issue takes readers on yet another international adventure as it highlights the beauty, bravado, and boldness of Italian fashion—which was recently celebrated with a grand fashion issue launch party at Prive Luxury Club, Bonifacio Global City last August 28.

With some of today’s hottest names in the fashion industry in attendance, headlined by cover girl Ruffa Gutierrez, the event served as an extension of the journey of style told in the magazine’s September issue—one that takes readers all the way to the beautiful town of Florence. For the two covers and extensive editorial, Ruffa was transformed into an Italian contessa, a chic seductress, a woman who embodies the fullness of the Florentine lifestyle—decked in no less than the best of the Italian collections.

Metro also announced its Metrowear Icon at the fashion issue launch party, naming fashion designer Francis Libiran as one of today’s pioneers in local and global style.

The star-studded Metro September 2013 issue launch was graced by the presence of the local entertainment industry’s biggest names, including Annabelle Rama, Raymond Gutierrez, Bela Padilla, Bianca Manalo, Maricar De Mesa, Don Allado, Rima Ostwani, Jerika Ejercito, Alice Dixson, Fatima Rabago, Hideo Muraoka, and Anton Del Rosario.

Aside from being graced by the presence of such a force in local fashion, the 2013 Fashion Issue Launch Party also served as a venue to introduce the new directions being taken for Metro’s digital platform, with the all improved Metro app available on the iPad as well as the Android market, plus Metro's Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram campaigns.
