Rhys Miguel proves how caring and a gentleman he is to his loveteam Kaori Oinuma!
The Fil-American dude who became an "Insta-celebrity" along with his pretty Filipina-Japanese onscreen partner exerted a diligent effort to celebrate her Birthday, when she turned 20 last July 22.

Rhys admitted he really looked for a particular gift days before Kaori's big day comes. He contacted particular courier services to deliver his Birthday gift to Kaori's residence in Mayapyap, Cabanatuan. Only to be initially dismayed that no courier was available, what with the Lockdown still hovering, the Pandemic yet un-curbed, add to that the location of his Loveteam far out of town.
Not to give up, Rhyz decided to get and request a favour from probably a personal acquaintance with a personal motorcycle to drive all the way to Kaori's residence (yes! Rhys really had this done!). Just in time to get his present to Kaori. In her house. In Cabanatuan! This not only surprised but overwhelmed the 20-year old celebrator!

This made their fans jumped for joy for it fueled the "kilig" scenario that the budding leading man did to his leading lady!
Too, the fans, in particular the KaoRhys United also sent Kaori their own presents like a dainty three-tiered fondant birthday cake, food and the trademark transparent, pink and blue balloons to further add to their idol's happy day, though Kaori admitted she was looking forward to a simple "non-party" celebration; just being with her family is enough. Thus thanking them on Instagram.
While Kaori already mentioned in past interviews the confidence and closeness Rhys and she has with each other's company since coming out of the House of Pinoy Big Brother, she is still overwhelmed by the attention he gives her.
