Lougee Basabas or Lougee just recently performed in Tambayan Sa Kanto. She is the featured artist in the Friday (June 14, 2013) night's edition of the resto-bar's weekly gig dubbed as "Togs Sa Kanto!"

Lougee is the lead vocalist of the Pinoy alternative rock band Mojofly which eventually turned into Delara band. The band actually popularized the songs like "Tumatakbo," "Bato," "Sa Uulitin," "Close to the End," "Choose," "Minamalas," "Thank You,"  and "Mata."

The band hit the airwaves from 2003 to 2007. Afterwards, they go on separate ways. But still, Lougee and her bandmates including Ali Alejandro performed in different bars and high-end restaurants as part of their regular gigs.

On the said Friday night, Lougee performed with her Mojofly's four bandmates. Ali, the son of the OPM icon Hadji Alendro and the brother of the OPM diva Rachel Alejandro performed as the drummer. Yes, Ali and Lougee were together from the start of Mojofly, to its reformation to Delara, until now that they were performing solos.

On their separate careers, Ali performs with the other artists in different gigs while Lougee appeared in TV like in "Eat Bulaga," "Game KNB," "K: The 1 Million Videoke Challenge,"  and "MTV Philippines" and in different TV Commercials and print media like Mitsubishi, Pepsi, Jollibee, Cream Silk, Penshoppe, Del Monte, SmartBro, Mobile Philippines Magazine (MPH), and Ayala Malls.

During her "Togs Sa Kanto" gig, Lougee performed three sets. On each set, Lougee sung some of her original composition, classic love songs, and rendition of the rock hits.

But aside from singing, Lougee also showcased her other talent during the night. Yes, Lougee took over playing the drum replacing Ali. Ali took the center stage singing his songs while Lougee beat the drum!

Check out some of the photos below showcasing Lougee's other talent:

Lougee and her band performed in Tambayan Sa Kanto every other Friday nights.

On the next post, more photos of Lougee for "Togs Sa Kanto" will be revealed.

Aside from Lougee, other award-winning artists and musicians performed in Tambayan Sa Kanto every weekend night. Some of them were Paolo Santos, Janjay Coquilla, Vince Alaras,  and Chris Cayzer.
